Is Matte Clay for me?

Here are several things to consider when choosing the right Kingpin pomade for you.

Is your hair thick/course?

If so, Matte Clay can be applied liberally to dry hair to tame even the thickest, densest heads of hair. The thicker the hair, the more small applications we recommend, being sure to evenly distribute from roots to ends starting with the top and finishing on the sides to control flyaways.

Is your hair thin/fine?

Matte Clay can also be used on fine/thin hair. Using a very conservative amount, work pomade vigorously between hands till pomade has been reduced to residue. This well keep hair from becoming greasy. Apply to dry hair starting with the densest areas of hair and finishing with the finest. We suggest starting with the travel size as a little bit goes a VERY long way.

Is your hair dry?

Matte Clay does provide moisture to dry hair, but if hydration is your primary concern, we recommend our Satin Wax.

Do you love your curls?

If you love your curly hair and just want to add some moisture and control flyaways, we recommend our Satin Wax.
